  Mystery of the two Remembers (0) John Burgess had a large family. One of his sons was named Samuel. Another was named Robert. Samuel had a daughter named Remember, born 23 Jun 1714. Maybe the other son, Robert, liked the name because he named one of his daughters Remember, born 21 Jun 1716. Like their father and uncle before them, the two sons named daughters Remember, creating another set of first cousins with the same name. The first Remember married Israel Cole III (Called Israel Cole Jr. in Ebenezer Burgess' book)and had a daughter named, you guessed it, Remember.
